Media Bias? Uhh, OK. If By Bias You Mean The Truth

January 16th, 2018

A turd is a turd, no matter how many times you call it a diamond.

Trump et al are constantly bitching about negative press coverage. But that’s like a dead high wire performer blaming gravity. The President’s 24/7 shit show, shit storm, shit hole…whatever…begs the obvious question; where is something positive that we can report? Let’s go down the list.

Trump’s words, his past, his actions against women, people of color, Muslims, Mexicans and 40 years of questionable business with mobsters and Russians.  Pence? Lies about Flynn, Russian contacts. His cabinet? Perry, Pruitt, Devos, Tillerson, Homeland Security…they all have questionable comments, actions, illegalities. It just goes on and on.

I mean, I’m really trying. And you know what? There’s nothing there. The only good Trump news is a forthcoming indictment.

But I’ll keep looking.

Chip Franklin

Franklin is a 25 year veteran of talk radio, beginning his career in Washington DC during Clinton’s first term. He currently hosts the afternoon show at KGO radio, San Francisco. He’s also won The New York Festival honors for his unconventional coverage of The Democratic and Republican conventions, as well as more than 30 AP awards for broadcasting, and numerous appearances on ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, and CNN. He has appeared at over 500 colleges and universities and more than a hundred Fortune 1000 companies as a speaker, comedian, and media consultant. Marc Fisher, senior editor at the Washington Post says, “Chip adds irony to a medium that rarely trusts its audience to get the joke.” He is however, a mediocre dancer.
