GOP Eyes Senate Lifeboat

The GOP, watching Trump’s base beginning to whither, has become increasingly focused on the very real possibility that 2020 could champion in not just a Democratic President, but a blue majority in the Senate as well.

Mitch McConnell, whose self-designated position of roadblocking meaningful legislation, not just for needy Americans as seen in his opposition of Medicare, but also the planet in his climate denying rants, is facing strong opposition in his state from a credible Democratic candidate and Kentuckians who can both read and breathe through their noses.  The self-described “grim-reaper” of  progressive policies is pledging all-out war to keep the Senate, a phrase his while hillbilly constituents may or may not see as hyperbole.

To put a point on it, a “Fox” News poll this month found Trump trailing four Democratic in head-to-head matchups, so McConnell’s concerns are anything but Fake News..
