I’ll Have That Beer Now

I don’t want to drink a beer with the President. I want the president to be smarter than a beer. Is that too much to ask?

Trump says the vaccines are coming soon. They’re not. He says the economy is fine. It ain’t. He says the pandemic will just disappear. It won’t.

Every time Trump contradicts Dr Fauci, the world leader in infectious diseases, it’s clear that he’s the real state of Emergency. As the virus attacks our cells, Trump attacks our credulity, supporting conspiracies that Hunter Biden, the Chinese  and “Sleepy Joe” are responsible.

We need a leader, not a mumbling sociopath with gaggle of lickspittles.  Get the masks, the ventilators, the safety equipment. Suspend taxes, create paid sick leave, be FDR, not MIA. People are hoarding toilet paper? (For the record, I’ve found that the pages from “The Art of The Deal” are quite absorbent.)

Trump has repeatedly said that virus is contained, when it is clear from genomic evidence that it’s not. But remember this is the guy who just a couple years ago claimed vaccines don’t work, so I guess i should be happy he at least now believes in one, even when it doesn’t yet exist.

I’ll have that beer now.
