The San Francisco Board of Supervisors’ resolution labeling the National Rifle Association a “domestic terrorist organization,” is reverberating on both sides of the gun. For the millions of Americans who see the NRA as a ruthless tool of gun manufacturers, it’s a “right on” to the San Francisco liberals who are never shy in taking a controversial stand.
The right however, view the position as arrogant, wrong, and potentially dangerous, in that it waters down the true intent of labeling a law abiding organization and that it could incite violence against it’s members. Who, it should be noted, are the ones who have guns.
The facts are these; the NRA contributes mightily to many who have in the past or currently support the types of weaponry that has been used by domestic terror groups and member of the white militia. And polls indicate that more Americans are beginning to view the NRA as not so much a domestic terror organization, more more like the car that drove them to the party.
