President Joe Walsh; No, The Other One

Chip Franklin

Joe Walsh, the radio-host/bat-shit crazy politician who announced he’s running as a Republican against Trump, and whom comedian Borat tricked into saying we should arm children, is now without his radio gig.

Walsh told CNN’s John Berman that he expected the move because nearly “80 to 90%” of his audience supports the Trump.

“I am running for president. I oppose this president. Most of my listeners support the president,” Walsh told CNN. “It’s not an easy thing to do to be in conservative talk radio and oppose this president.”

Walsh’s show could be heard on the Salem Radio Network, a collection of small markets across the country characterized by people who opposed Obamacare and are now getting health services from CVS stock employees.

Franklin is a 25 year veteran of talk radio, beginning his career in Washington DC during Clinton’s first term. He currently hosts the afternoon show at KGO radio, San Francisco. Chip is also an award-winning filmmaker, comedian, and scribe, garnering seven Edward R Murrow awards, including the National Murrow award for writing. He’s also won The New York Festival honors for his unconventional coverage of The Democratic and Republican conventions, as well as more than 30 AP awards for broadcasting. Chip has made numerous appearances on ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, and CNN.
