Trump will lose, resign in December and possibly be pardoned by Pence. I could see that.
But that won’t protect him from New York State indictments for money laundering and racketeering. Federal charges could await him if Pence refuses to such a deal, but that’s unlikely as Pence is equally weak.
But the bottom like is, this ain’t Nixon.

Nixon was a flawed, weak man who could not control his darker side. But in the end, stepped back and allowed the world to move forward without him.

Trump, however is a narcissistic sociopath who cares about no one other than himself. And when his power is wrestled away, he will be alone, save for his children already infected with his myopic, distorted views of integrity and justice. They will either be indicted for their crimes, or slowly disappear as sad footnotes to this horrible moment in history.

It is his final days in power that should worry the world. A drowning man will pull any and all under in order to save himself.
