Trump Won’t Betray FOX
President Trump, speaking to FOX host Brian Kilmeade, said he won’t do an interview with CNN because it would be disloyal to his followers. “I think it would be very disloyal to people that are Trump fans and people that voted for me and people that are going to vote again.”
For the record, Trump has not agreed to an interview with CNN since taking office and has repeatedly called both the organization and CNN’s reporters the “Fake News” media.
Trump did recently tweet his dismay at some of the reporting on FOX by Shepherd Smith, Brit Hume, and Chris Wallace, saying that “FOX News is letting millions of GREAT people down. We have to find a new news outlet. FOX news isn’t working for us anymore,” to which Hume responded, “FOX News isn’t supposed to work for you.”
For the record, Trump has referred to the media as the “enemy of the people” over 100 times, and tried to bar CNN’s Jim Acosta and recently had the credentials of Brian Karem, a White House reporter for Playboy, suspended for thirty days.
